In a typical CSA (Community-Supported Agriculture) program, customers become shareholders of a farm by purchasing a share at the beginning of the season, usually in late winter or early spring. Shareholders then receive a weekly farmer-selected share of produce including whatever is fresh and abundant that week.
Pheasant Fields Farm offers a unique FarmShare program with customer service in mind, providing the best produce and greatest flexibility. Shareholders can choose to spend coupons on anything Pheasant Fields Farm offers, at any of several locations, when they choose. It is our intention to spoil you with this program!
How it works
Each shareholder will purchase a personalized Bonus Book at a discounted price. Customers can then redeem the discounted cash coupons for any item we offer at Pheasant Fields Farm for the length of our season, from April 10th until the last day of October.
You may redeem your coupons at the farm or at any farmer’s market we attend.
No more worries about figuring out what to do with your weekly share when you go on vacation. While away, you simply don’t cash in any coupons, and you can use them when you return. Since you can select from our whole range of products, you will not need to receive items you or your family do not want or need. We hope this new program will serve our members better by providing a share tailored to each family’s desires.
Bonus Books are non-transferable and will expire at the end of this year’s market season. If you run out of coupons before the market season ends, you may purchase another book at a 1o% discount.
What can I buy?
You now have even more variety in what you purchase from us with your Bonus Book. There are no limitations. Your share is tailored to your family’s needs. Choose from a variety of vegetables, eggs, chicken, flowers, nursery stock, such as herbs and vegetable starts, and our family events held on the farm in the fall.
As always, we welcome your farm visits as a CSA customer, when our farm becomes your farm.
