Something Exciting is Happening!
For generations, we’ve believed that eating locally is better for your health, better for our local economy, and kinder to the planet. And now—you’re catching on, too! You're asking smart questions like “How is this grown?” and “What happens after harvest?” (and occasionally, “Can I hug a chicken?”). We love it.

The Eat Local movement is thriving, and thanks to your support, it’s growing stronger every day—just like our veggies! Thank you for supporting our farm, our community, and our belief that good food comes from good dirt and great people.

Our growing season kicks off in January inside our greenhouses and high-tunnel. We start with cold-loving crops like leafy greens, radishes, peas, and culinary herbs. As the weather warms, so does our harvest. Early summer brings in more lettuces, green beans, cucumbers, onions, carrots, and other farm-fresh favorites.

Then comes the grand summer finale—juicy tomatoes and vibrant peppers finally take the stage. As we roll into fall, we wrap up the season with a spectacular array of winter squash and pumpkins—perfect for roasting, baking, or just proudly displaying on your porch.

This is also when we open the gates for our Annual Pumpkin Patch! You're invited to experience the full flavor of farm life—complete with a fresh farmers market, a twisting corn maze, friendly farm animals, and plenty of good times for all ages. Come make some memories, pick the perfect pumpkin, and soak in the sights (and smells) of autumn on the farm.

Growing for a Cause
A few years ago, at the request of the North Kitsap Fishline, Russell and Ardis Swank generously offered their land to help grow vegetables for the local food bank. This initiative became known as "The Swank Grow & Share Farm."
Since the 2019 season, over 2 tons of produce have been grown and donated to NK Fishline, providing fresh food to our community. With each passing year, vegetable production continues to grow, and we’re proud to support such a meaningful and impactful project!
