"The farmer has to be an optimist or they wouldn't still be a farmer"
Our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture)
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. In a CSA program, participating members of the community pay an up-front fee at the beginning of a new season, and each week once the harvest season begins, they enjoy a share of the freshest and healthiest produce we have to offer. Basically, you are buying a "share" of the year's harvest. Customers benefit greatly from having convenient access to farm-fresh food, and we farmers benefit with up-front payments so we can purchase seeds and supplies in early spring. CSA programs help to keep local farms alive and healthy and part of our growing community, where they belong.
We are not certified organic but we grow food using organic and sustainable practices: NO pesticides - NO herbicides - NO hormones
The Advantages of Local Food
Customers, friends, and family have unlimited access to Pheasant Fields Farm for visiting to observe the changing seasons and current farm activities. We welcome you to visit the farm and cultivate a new relationship with your food. Renew and deepen your relationship to community and the land we all share. To discuss a CSA, please make an appointment for a farm orientation or talk with us at the farmers market. No appointments are necessary thereafter.

Flexible Market Card
Come, Pick, Swipe, Get.
We recognize that traditional CSA shares may not work for everyone. Set pick up times and abundant shares of vegetables you may not use can make it hard for local food to work within busy lives. That's why we offer a market card! Shop whenever you like for whatever you want. While is doesn't have the economic value of a full CSA share, it allows you flexibility while still supporting our farm. To show our gratitude, we'll give you a 10% discount on your purchase price. Sold as an EGift Card through square in amounts: $25-$1000.
Our CSA season runs every week from beginning May until October 23rd. That means twenty six weeks of the tastiest, healthiest produce we have to offer! We have to rely on Mother Nature to grant us a bountiful harvest, but we are enthusiastic about a bountiful and prosperous year in 2019.
A small share contains an average of 7 items per week and serves one to two modest vegetable eaters who typically cook half their meals at home. $500.00 ($550 value)
A large share contains an average of 13 items per week and serves three to four modest vegetable eaters or two hearty vegetables eaters who enjoy cooking at home. $900 ($1035 value)
These two options are the best value we offer for your dollars invested!
You may pick up your share at any farmer’s market we attend or at the farm by appointment. We are at the following markets: Central Kitsap Farmers Market Tuesdays from 4 pm-7 pm Poulsbo Farmers Market Satudays from 9 am to 2 pm

DISCLAIMER Nature provides no guarantees - we can't offer any either. But with diversified crops, we expect most will prosper and if one fails, another will fill its place. We are dedicated to being your farmers, working for you to deliver quality and quantity in a responsible manner for your healthy eating and pleasure. We are fortunate to say we have never experienced a situation where we did not have product for our customers throughout our growing season.
